Posted by Korean Air Lines Co. said Thursday it will open a route to Zagreb, the capital city of Croatia, in September to strengthen its services on European routes.
Korean Air plans to operate three regular flights a week on the Zagreb route from Sept. 1 as part of efforts to explore new markets in Europe, the company said in a statement.
The national flag carrier’s direct flight services to Croatia will become the first of their kind in Asia. The company has flown chartered planes to Croatia since 2010, it said.
Korea Air said a 218-seat A330-200 jet will be used on the route.
