Posted by This summer, one of the most influential artists of our time, heads to Seoul’s Seokchon Lake for his new project, KAWS:HOLIDAY. Working once again with longtime collaborator AllRightsReserved, the project features a colossal inflatable companion, the largest sculptural endeavor by the artist to date, measuring 28 meters long. It will also be his first artwork to float on water.
“KAWS:HOLIDAY” will also bring a new series of special edition products including a Bath Toy – a scaled-down replica soft rubber version of the 28-meter inflatable – a floating bed, umbrella, three t-shirts, and towel. These items will be available exclusively for purchase at Ding Dong Takuhaibin online store starting from July 19.
“KAWS:HOLIDAY” will be on view on Seokchon Lake from July 19 to August 19, 2018, before launching an around-the-world tour.
