International football star Cristiano Ronaldo of Portugal will visit South Korea this month, a local daily reported on Tuesday, citing officials of a health device maker that he promotes.
Ronaldo will come to Seoul on July 25 via Japan, according to Sports Khan, a sports and entertainment daily. If the report is true, it will be his first visit to Korea in 11 years since he played in a friendly game here in 2007.
The primary goal of his visit is to promote an electronic muscle-building device he has promoted since 2014, the daily reported. He will participate in a promotional event for the device, named Sixpad at a hall in Seoul on his arrival day, the report said.
Details of his itinerary here have not been revealed.
